The second review i read was http://search.nj.com/lord+of+the+rings, a negative review. Stephen Whitty talks about how he personally did not like the film. He thought it was a good movie but had too many awkward pauses and redundancies. This review is organized. He uses parts of the movie that he did not like. He overall liked the movie but he picked out certain parts that were not very good. The tone of this review is moody and annoying. The vocabulary that Stephen uses is not precise nor strong toned. The writer focused most on the conflicts and themes. He personally pointed out parts in certain scenes that he found bad and useless. There were no references pointed out in this review.
I agree with the point that Bill made about how Peter Jackson has created the most epic and sweeping fantasy adventure of all time. I agree with his quote because it really is still the most epic fantasy adventure of all time. There was not one part in the movie that I lost interest and wanted to be doing something else. I was drawn in for the full 3 hour, 20-minute movie. I agree that Peter Jackson created an amazing fantasy movie that will never be forgotten. I also agree with the point that Stephen made about how Peter Jackson could have left out many scenes. I loved all three movies but there were some scenes that really were just not needed. It's not that I had lost interest in these scenes its just that they could have been left out. I feel like Jackson added some of these scenes because he wanted to make this epic movie longer and remembered. I agree with both of these quotes.
If I had never seen this movie the first review that was positive, by Bill Muller would definitely be more convincing. The other review by Stephen Whitty was not very interesting nor professional. The first review would definitely be more convincing because he talked about the movie and he really made me visualize what the movie would be like if i had never seen it. It made me more comfortable with the film and it honestly just makes me want to see it again. This top critic really made an impact on me and he showed me what it would be like to watch this film.
Some things I would definitely like to include in my film review would be the Director, characters, the plot, and conflicts. All four of these things would really draw in the reader. It would make them feel like they were already a part of the movie. I would leave out the main idea of the movie because I wouldn't want to tell the reader too much about the movie before they saw it. I would really want to draw in the reader and give them some roots and evidence of the film. I loved this whole trilogy because it made me feel so comfortable and ready. I will watch these films until the day that I die because they have made such an impact on me that I cannot forget them. I give props to Peter Jackson and everyone who helped make this epic trilogy.
Good work here, CJ. You make some nice points: B. Currently, this is 5 paragraphs with no direct lines from the reviews and grammar mistakes.
