MYST POST #1:THE HUNGER GAMES
The movie that i chose to write about about is the Hunger Games. I enjoyed this movie very much. This movie really drew me in. It is similar to The cabin in the woods because it showed other people controlling whats going on. Gary Ross did a magnificent job in this movie. He showed every scene with affection and emotion. After i saw this movie i thought and talked about it non stop. That's what a movie is suppose to do, stay in your head. I am glad that this movie was created because i read the book and the movie was exactly like it. I actually got to saw it visually which blew me away.
The style of this movie was great. It wasn't cheesy or boring. It kept the viewer on the edge of their seat. The camera angles were magnificent. They set the mood by showing close ups. I knew exactly where i was during the movie. The camera followed every fight and death. It captured everything. The movie editing was very professional. It wasn't too long. The scenes were cut perfectly. You weren't sitting there watching one scene for more than a minute. The camerawork did a great job of that. I liked the camera angles the most.
I am so excited to see the next ones. I haven't seen a movie that has mad such an impact on me in a really long time. I am disappointed that i have to wait to see the next one. I did not get bored at all during this movie. The suspense was great. A lot of people would like this movie. Even if someone likes a specific genre they should really see this movie because it is like nothing else. Everything about this movie shows the year 2012. If they tried to make this movie a couple years ago or even a century ago it would be nothing like this. Everything they needed for this movie was right here. I am ready to watch this movie again and again. I suggest this movie to anyone who is interested in having a good time.

I also enjoyed this movie very much. You did a good job talking about the cinematography and how all the scenes were edited perfectly to keep you interested. It was also good how you talked about your anticipation for the next sequel.
ReplyDeleteI liked you review. I thought this was a good movie too. I agree with way you said about how everything seemed to be made with care. I also think the movie did a good job of keeping close to the book and the effects were very well done.
ReplyDeleteC.J, nice review. I have also seen this film you have reviewed and I, too, love it just as much. One thing that I am really going to agree with you on is the fact that the movie really made you constantly think and talk about it after the viewing. This is mainly because of what you talked about in this review: the clever camera angles, the way the shots set the mood, the perfection in editing, etc. Nice post.
